Allow me to join the chorus: The 2012 federal budget proposed by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is an improvement over the administration’s 2012 plan, since the GOP proposal at least makes a stab at tackling two of the three major entitlement programs — Medicare and Medicaid — that are driving the country toward a financial cliff.
