Slow Dharma

We came upon this solitary wayfarer by the side of the street, where it was in danger from passing cars. It was carefully placed in a box and conveyed to the nearest nature refuge, of which there are a number in this portion of New Jersey, where it was set free, safe from the heedless wheels of vehicular traffic.

And so the Buddha-spirit was honored and protected.
