Uncle Crizzle, that rollicking king of the night known by the civilian name Craig D. Lindsey, hs his own Tumblr blog and it's, like, totally happening, chicky-babe--check it out.

These Tumblr blogs--they seem to be the latest elegant rage.

F-Word Brenda has one, though she isn't F-ing around in text as much as she used to, as befits her new role as Piper Palin's nanny/judo instructor.

And, as saluted earlier, Kim Morgan has launched a Tumbler blog, a gem collection of photographs that strike piano notes of memory and emotion, especially today, June 1st, when Kim is presenting a bittersweet cavalcade of birthday tributes to Marilyn Monroe:



It's June 1st and, as always, I'm happily, sadly and at this point, superstitiously back to her again. Norma Jeane, Marilyn, MM, or as Norman Mailer called her, "more than the silver witch of us all" -- Marilyn Monroe. Every year I must celebrate with her -- it would feel wrong if I didn't. At this point, the very thought of not mentioning her makes me sense something terrible will happen. It's just a birthday, it's just my birthday but, it's something else too...
