Unfortunately, I didn't learn that Beck was off for the week (when the face of this guy as guest host appeared in his stead) until I had already suffered through a slobbering interview with Donald Trump by Neil Cavuto that was sirened on screen with a "ALERT...ALERT...ALERT..." about some dumb-ass poll having Trump topping Romney and Pawlenty in the Republican race. Polls would probably put Charlie Sheen ahead of the Republican field at this point; means nothing. Though of course in the light of this latest data Cavuto conducted himself with the solemn sycophancy that is his trademark whenever a Jack Welch or similar big daddy is around. Had Trump been in the studio he might have left his shoes on Cavuto's desk for him to shine, which he would have done gladly, with cat-like licks.
