It has the spearmint flavor of Monty Python too, of Eric Idle and John Cleese in drag watching the telly:
"Oi, he's randy hopper, he is."
"Not half. Not half the randy hopper my Reggie is."
Reggie enters, played by the moistly youthful Martin Amis dressed as a Herman's Hermit. He stands about, waiting for someone to feed him a line, walks off.
