Little Kaus on the Prairie

When I read the news that Mickey Kaus would be picking up his Crayons and leaving Tina Brown's Newsbeast to blog at Tucker Carlson's Daily Bawler, a couple of thoughts came to mind.

One, that Mickey can now finally drop all pretense of being a lukewarm liberal and dedicate his mouse droppings to his true ideological buddies and their interests.

The other was that TBogg was certain to have something inspirational to say about this major down-market move in the blogosphere, and sure enough...

And if this doesn't work out for Mickey, there's always Pajamas Media, one of the cruelest sentences I've ever written.
