GOP Won't Let Romney Off Hook on Health Care

On Friday I argued that Mitt Romney's health care dilemma is akin to a Gordian Knot. Conservatives are insistent that Romney explain his previous support for the individual mandate, in order to prove he's not ideologically suspect, but when he does try to explain it, he only reinforces the sense that he's ideologically malleable and opportunistic.Don't take my word for it, though. Righty blogger Jennifer Rubin reports that this is exactly how conservatives see it, and adds that his only way out is to repudiate Romneycare completely:
